Houston Fashion Week has officially wrapped and looking back, I’m so proud of how far Houston has come when putting on fashion shows. Now that I know my way around the ropes, I couldn’t wait to show off my outfit.

Day 2 was ‘Night of Camp’ and I wanted to combine prints and color. I was influenced by the show from the night before and seeing the leopard prints and bright colors, a lightbulb went off in my head. I realized I had a leopard print maxi dress and bright red kitten heels that went perfectly together. I wanted to go for a sultry look, so I decided to pin part of the dress to my hip to make a slit. Then I paired it with sheer black gloves for more of an elegant look and a gold double buckle belt. Then to add the finishing touches, I added red rimless sunnies.
The featured designer for the night was Nicholas Nguyen, showcasing his unique style and combining creativity and elegance. Danny Nguyen whose designs are heavily influenced by his Vietnamese background, showcases impeccable prints and vibrant colors. Berny Martin's collection, Catou blended masculine and feminine styles, creating an impressive and clean look.

The night was filled with so many exciting moments including a run-in with featured designer, Guillermo Alayon who I had an amazing conversation throughout the night. I’m looking forward to the next round of shows and can’t wait to show you, my looks.
